IHRC delegation paid a coutesy call on First Lady of Gambia

High level delegation of International Human Rights Commission led by Secretary General, Ambassador Malik Nadeem Abid. had pleasure & honor to meet First Lady of Gambia Her Excellency Fatoumata Bah Borrow and Health Minister His Excellency Dr. Ahmadou Lamia Samateh last night. Honorable First Lady was assisted by her young and dynamic Permanent Secretary Honorable Halima Tambadou Jawara. IHRC offered it’s expertise to help Gambia in it’s development plans and several projects for public interest. We are impressed of Her Excellency Borrow’s commitment and strong urge to make positive change in the lives of people of Gambia....a unique characteristic in developing countries, specially in African Region where biggest problem these days is corruption. We're also impressed of the knowledge and willingness of Dr. Sam to provide universal healthcare to every citizen of Gambia. It's a very ambitious goal but with determination of Gambian leaders and IHRC support, we shall make it happen. IHRC delegation also included Ambassador Foday Mansaray, Deputy Foreign Minister & High Representative for African Region and Amb Didi Fall Secretary General's representative for Gambia. We look forward to playing our positive & constructive role to help Gambia overcome it's issues and to meet all it's goal to strengthen I the economy. The delegation will soon travel to Gambia to further discuss short term & lying term needs of Gambia and to meet their expectations. The delegation thank Her Excellency Mrs. Barrow for her hospitality, time and attention.
